No Ego, Just Results: OLSI Team Fosters Excellence and Camaraderie at Team Building Activity

MATAAS NA KAHOY, BATANGAS — Last August 15–16, 2025, the One Stop Logistics Solutions, Inc. (OLSI) team led by General Manager Miguel Gutierrez gathered at Shercon Resort, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas for this year's much-awaited Team Building Activity. Carrying the theme “No Ego. Just Results.”, the two-day event reminded everyone that true success isn't about individual wins—it's about moving as one.

This year was made even more special with the presence of managers and supervisors from Visayas and Mindanao branches—Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao—who traveled to join the rest of the OLSI team. Their participation reinforced the spirit of unity across regions and showed what it truly means to be One OLSI.

Also joining the event were Distribution Group Chief Operating Officer Eleonor Felipe, Magsaysay Shipping & Logistics (MSL) Learning & Organization Development (OD) Manager Ramon Galang, MSL OD Officer Kelvin Bumatay, and HR Relations and Compliance Officer Nhada Nanoy, whose presence highlighted the importance of people, culture, and shared values in building a stronger OLSI.

Of all the activities, one of the highlights was the Tower of Success challenge, where the team was tasked to build a 7-layer tower out of wooden bricks under time pressure. What made it truly memorable was that the newest member of the group was chosen to lead, while the usual leaders stepped back. It was a powerful exercise in trust, humility, and shared leadership.

The tower collapsed not once, but several times. Yet no one pointed fingers, no one gave up. Instead, the team kept rebuilding—lifting each other up, literally and figuratively. In the end, the youngest members were raised to place the final pieces, and the whole group celebrated the victory together.

That simple tower became more than just a game—it became a symbol of what OLSI stands for: resilience, teamwork, and collective success.

Another meaningful moment was when everyone pledged their personal commitment on how they will support OLSI in achieving its goals. Each promise reflected not only dedication to work but also the shared belief that growth and success come when everyone pulls together.

The OLSI Team Building 2025 wasn't just about games or activities. It was about proving once again that when we choose to set aside ego and stand together, there's no challenge too great, and no tower too high. As OLSI GM Miguel Gutierrez shared, “Success is never individual—it's collective. Every achievement rests on how well we move as one.”
