OLSI at 21: Setting Off to Their Next Journey

What makes a team strong and thriving? For One Stop Logistics Solutions, Inc. (OLSI), it's the rhythm of teamwork, trust, and the unwavering spirit that has kept the company moving forward for 21 years and counting.

Last October 10, the OLSI team came together at the Times Plaza Building to celebrate their 21st year of success and camaraderie in a day of gratitude, laughter, and a shared sense of pride. MPs at OLSI offices in Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tacloban, Malabon, and Valenzuela also held simultaneous celebrations, joining the Manila team virtually.

OLSI General Manager Miguel Gutierrez opened the program with inspiring remarks, celebrating and recognizing the 13 Rockstars of OLSI: “Rockstars are those people in the team who don't really get the spotlight, but they're the ones doing the dirty work.” Explaining his choice, he added, “I feel that they are the ones that embody OLSI and the success that we have right now.”

A special highlight of the celebration was a video that showcased OLSI's 21-year journey—from its early beginnings to the dynamic, thriving team it is today. The room filled with nostalgia and pride as familiar faces and milestones flashed across the screen, reminding everyone of just how far they've come together.

The three pioneers of OLSI who have stood strong with the company through every high and low also shared inspirational messages and key learnings from their journey. Sales Manager Regina Maristela shared, “I have so many memories with OLSI. We've had ups and downs, but most importantly na na-build ko dito sa OLSI is the family. I've been in so many companies before but I stayed in Magsaysay because of the family culture.”

Meanwhile, Billing Supervisor Teresita Lucernas shared the poem she wrote for OLSI: “Magkakaiba man ang ating mga departamentong ginagalawan, iisa lang ang ating layunin kada buwan. Kaya OLSI, tayo na't galingan pa natin, magtulungan at walang iwanan sa dulo ng walang hanggan.”

Finally, joining virtually, Warehouse Manager Carl David urged his fellow MPs to embrace change, reach out, and be thankful. He attributed OLSI's success to the team's hard work and prayers, saying, “Hopefully (in) the coming years, magtuloy-tuloy... Dapat lahat, positive lang lagi.”

Showing strong leadership support, Magsaysay Group President and CEO Doris Magsaysay Ho and Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics President Jesse H. Maxwell joined the celebration to personally congratulate the OLSI team and capture the moment with a commemorative group photo.

In a fitting finale, the celebration ended with a fabulous feast and resounding fun. The team had a blast capturing fun memories and smiles at the photobooth before sitting down to a hearty feast that filled the room with laughter, stories, and that familiar OLSI bond—genuine, close-knit, and one of a kind.
